The Ports Authority has been formally established and today launches its official website at ports.gov.vin, where the terminal register, cargo handling rules, the schedule of port charges and guidance for shipping agents are published.

All news- Ports Authority Confirms Opening of Seven Terminals
Seven terminals at the four ports of the Network open under the Authority's management between Monday 7 September and Thursday 10 September 2026. The terminal register, berth specifications and operating hours are published from today.
- Ports Authority Publishes Cargo Handling Rules, Agent Procedures and Schedule of Port Charges
The rules for the handling of cargo at the ports of the Network, the procedure for shipping agents, and the schedule of port charges in force to 31 December 2026 take effect on Monday 7 September 2026.
- Ports Authority Publishes First Throughput Figures
The Authority's first statistical release covers the transition period from 10 August to 5 September 2026: 186 vessel calls, 41,300 twenty-foot equivalent units of containers, 612,000 tonnes of bulk cargo and 28,700 ferry passengers.
About the Authority
The Ports Authority of the Velocity Interoperability Network is responsible for the terminals, cargo handling and vessel movements at the four ports of the Velocity Interoperability Network.
It operates seven terminals directly, acts as harbour master at each port, sets and collects port charges, registers shipping agents and enforces the rules for the safe handling of cargo and the safe movement of vessels, vehicles and people within the ports.
